TAMID at Northeastern

TAMID is a non-political and non-religious organization that aims to train the next generation of entrepreneurs through a comprehensive education curriculum, pro-bono consulting for Israeli startups, capital market investment research, and a summer internship program in Israel. The Northeastern TAMID chapter was founded in 2015. It currently has over 100 members and dozens of alumni. Some of our members have worked at Amazon, Disney, Google, Goldman Sachs and more! The TAMID Education track aims to develop members professionally, help them understand the various facets of the entrepreneurship world, and help them analyze the factors behind Israel’s accession as a startup and tech powerhouse. The track also teaches members skills in preparation for the Consulting and Investment Fund tracks. The TAMID Consulting track allows our members to provide consulting for the most exciting and innovative companies coming out of Israel. TAMID members engage in projects during the academic year that build skills in market research, competitive analysis, US market entry strategy, beta testing/product development and design, and more. The TAMID Investment Fund track leverages a partnership with Seeking Alpha to develop strong equity research skills while all TAMID chapters compete in a national fund competition that decides which companies will be added to the national TAMID stock portfolio. Lastly, the TAMID Fellowship is a unique opportunity over the summer that allows members to work at high-tech groundbreaking startups and gain first-hand experience in the start-up nation.
