Elvis Martinez

Elvis Martinez currently serves as the Director of Communications & Player Relations for the Tampa Bay Rays, where responsibilities include leading baseball communications, overseeing player appearance requests, and managing media interview requests. Prior to this, Elvis held roles with the Minnesota Twins, including Coordinator of Communications & Spanish Interpreter and Manager of Communications and Player Relations, where duties involved media relations, interpretation for Spanish-speaking players, and managing press releases. Elvis also gained experience in baseball operations with the St. Louis Cardinals and acquired foundational skills in hospitality and management through positions at various hotels and Disney. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality and Service Management and International Relations from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
