Erik Larsen

Erik Larsen, PhD, is currently serving as a Junior Analyst for the Tampa Bay Rays since June 2022. Prior to this role, Erik completed a Doctorate in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona from July 2016 to December 2021. Erik gained valuable research experience as a Research Assistant at California State University, Stanislaus, from January 2014 to March 2016, contributing to various projects involving gene identification, protein expression, and pathogen characterization. Additionally, Erik has provided academic support as a Chemistry Tutor and Supplemental Instructor. Earlier athletic experience includes competing as a college baseball player at Modesto Junior College, the University of Tennessee at Martin, and California State University, Stanislaus. Erik holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from California State University, Stanislaus, attained between 2011 and 2014.
