Jeffrey Tanzer has more than 20 years of work experience in sales and customer service roles within the sports industry. Jeffrey started their career as a Season Ticket Sales Executive at Lake Elsinore Storm in 1998. In the same year, they joined Florida Marlins as a Season Ticket and Group Sales Account Executive. In 2000, they became the Customer Service Manager and Stadium Liaison at Florida Marlins, where they worked until 2002. Tanzer then joined Atlanta Spirit, LLC as the Season Ticket Sales and Service Manager from 2002 to 2006. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service at Tampa Bay Rays since 2006.

Jeffrey Tanzer completed their education with a Master of Science in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida in 1996. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021 and a Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from the same institution in July 2020.
