Abdel Hussein is an experienced professional in SCADA and control systems with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the SCADA Manager at Tampa Bay Water since June 2016, Abdel has previously held significant positions such as SCADA Technical Lead and Real-time Systems Architect at Schneider Electric, where involvement in large-scale SCADA/DMS and Smart Grid projects was prominent. Additionally, completion of SCADA/Substation Automation projects as a Project Engineer at Black and Veatch and contributions to various SCADA solutions at Survalent Technology exemplify a strong technical background. Earlier roles included positions as a Controls Engineer at ABB Automation and an Electrical/Controls Engineer in Egypt. Abdel holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, earned from 1992 to 1997.
