Cathleen Jonas is a seasoned professional in hydrogeology with extensive experience in water supply and resource management. Currently serving as the Water Use Permitting Senior Manager at Tampa Bay Water since December 2022, Cathleen previously held the role of Senior Consultant in Hydrogeology at Verdantas and was the Principal Hydrogeologist at HSW Engineering, Inc. from October 2017 to December 2022. Cathleen's long-term commitment to the field includes over 28 years at SDI Environmental Services, Inc. as President and Senior Project Hydrogeologist, along with earlier experience as a Geologist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Beloit College, complemented by studies at the University of Glasgow.
