Jon Kennedy is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in utility planning, capital project development, and land management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Planning and Projects at Tampa Bay Water since June 1987, Jon is responsible for overseeing utility planning and real estate acquisition. Prior to this role, Jon worked as a Planning Engineer at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, focusing on developing infiltration/inflow regulations and capital project planning. Early career experience includes engineering at Havens and Emerson Inc., where responsibilities encompassed stormwater investigations and hydraulic modeling. Jon holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
