Kendra Wilkes has over 25 years of experience in environmental chemistry and analysis. Currently serving as a Chemist II at Tampa Bay Water since August 2009, Kendra is responsible for the preparation and analysis of drinking water samples using ion chromatography and serves as a back-up analyst for ammonia analysis. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Scientist I at Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission, where Kendra prepared and analyzed water and sediment samples using GC/MS, and as an Environmental Supervisor and Analyst at Severn-Trent Laboratories, focusing on the analysis of water, wastewater, and sediment samples. Kendra began the career as an Environmental Analyst at American Analytical and Technical Services, specializing in the analysis of environmental samples for semi-volatiles and volatiles. Kendra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Mobile.
