Aracelis Chapman

Aracelis Chapman is an experienced manager with a demonstrated history of leadership in library and housing administration. Currently serving as the General Manager at the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library since January 2005, Aracelis organizes daily operations, manages resources, addresses customer issues, and oversees policy development and budget preparation. Previously, Aracelis worked at the New Bedford Housing Authority from July 1999 to December 2002, administering five public housing developments and managing resident relations, inspections, and financial reporting. Earlier experience includes managing marina operations at East Passage Yachting Center from 1990 to 1999, where responsibilities included sales, customer relations, and event coordination. Aracelis holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Tampa and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University.
