Jon Vaden attended Friends' Central School for high school. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1985 to 1989. During their time at the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Radio, TV & Motion Pictures/American Studies.
