Branko van Oppen

Richard E. Perry Curator Of Greek And Roman Art at Tampa Museum of Art

Branko van Oppen is the Richard E. Perry Curator of Greek and Roman Art at the Tampa Museum of Art since March 2021. Previously, Branko worked as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Groningen, a visiting research scholar & curator at Allard Pierson, and as a guest scholar and Getty Scholar at the Getty Research Institute. Branko has a PhD in History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York and has taught various courses on ancient history, Athenian democracy, and the Hellenistic Age.
