Gabriela Alves has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Gabriela began their career as an Assistant Manager at Royal Marriott in Bristol in 2001. Gabriela then progressed to the role of Assistant General Manager at River Station Restaurant in 2003. In 2004, they became a Business Partner and General Manager at Alameda Bar and Restaurant. Gabriela further expanded their expertise by becoming a Business Partner at Zest Coffee Shop in 2010 and subsequently becoming the Owner/Operator of Terra Cevicheria and Rum Bar in the same year. Gabriela also served as a Sole Proprietor and Restaurateur at a separate restaurant from 2007 to 2013. Gabriela gained international experience as the General Manager at SALT Restaurant in Beijing from 2007 to 2014. Gabriela then joined Alameda as the CEO in 2007 and held this position until 2015. Prior to their current position, Gabriela worked as the CFO at SONIC from 2014 to 2016. Gabriela is currently a Co-Founder and COO at Tampon Tribe, where they have been since 2016.

Gabriela Alves has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. In 1993, they attended Universidade do Vale do Paraíba and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Following this, in 1999, they enrolled at the University of Bristol where they specialized in Hospitality and Catering Management, earning their degree in 2003. Gabriela then moved on to study Chinese Language and Literature at the Capital University of Economics and Business from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, they also completed programs in Hospitality Management, specifically focusing on Business Administration and Management, General, at City of Bristol College.
