Sheng Yang Lim

Sheng Yang Lim is an Ophthalmology Resident at Tan Tock Seng Hospital since July 2023, with a background in medical informatics and military medicine within the Singapore Armed Forces. Currently serving as a Medical Informatics Development Officer and Battalion Medical Officer, Sheng Yang Lim manages the health of over 500 soldiers and has developed initiatives for rehabilitation and mental health strategies. Previously, as an Operations Medical Officer for the COVID-19 Treatment Facility Task Force, significant contributions included the creation of patient screening workflows and data analysis systems, leading to a Letter of Commendation for outstanding efforts. Collaborations with various health organizations have further demonstrated strong organizational skills. In addition to clinical roles, Sheng Yang Lim has been an active clinical reviewer for esteemed medical publications and has gained diverse international clinical experience through internships. Educational accomplishments include an MBBS from the National University of Singapore, with continued professional development through various military and medical training programs.
