Barbaros Hasan T. is an experienced professional in social impact management, currently serving as the Social Impact Manager for the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) since June 2012. The TANAP Project, along with the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) and the Trans - Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) which form the Southern Gas Corridor, aims to bring natural gas produced in Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz-2 gas field, and in the other areas of the Caspian Sea, to Turkey and on to Europe. TANAP will increase Turkey's natural gas supply security and diversify its supply sources, and open Azerbaijani gas to new markets while contributing to energy supply security and stability in the region.
