Erdem Kok has extensive work experience in communications and management roles. Erdem served as the Director Corporate Communications at TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Company, where they were responsible for the construction and operation of the TANAP pipeline, a major project in the energy sector. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Communications Manager at SOCAR Turkey Petrol Enerji Dağıtım San.ve Tic. A.Ş., and as the Director General at UNA Union of News Agencies of the Member States of the OIC.
Erdem Kok has a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from Ankara Yildirim Beyazit Universitesi.

TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Company
The TANAP Project, along with the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) and the Trans - Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) which form the Southern Gas Corridor, aims to bring natural gas produced in Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz-2 gas field, and in the other areas of the Caspian Sea, to Turkey and on to Europe. TANAP will increase Turkey's natural gas supply security and diversify its supply sources, and open Azerbaijani gas to new markets while contributing to energy supply security and stability in the region.
