Yasin Yilmaz

Yasin Yilmaz has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and commissioning. Yasin has worked as a Lead I&C Commissioning Engineer at TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Company since 2016, where they supervise commissioning and start-up activities for a large pipeline system. Prior to that, they worked at GAMA Power Systems Engineering and Contracting, Inc. as a Lead I&C Commissioning Engineer, managing the preparation and implementation of Turnover Completion Packages for a combined cycle power plant. Yilmaz also has experience as an Instrument Commissioning Engineer at Wood Group PSN, where they monitored commissioning activities and coordinated with clients. Yasin worked as a Lead Instrument Commissioning Engineer at GATE (GAMA-TEKFEN), managing commissioning handover packs and providing supervision during discipline-related activities. Additionally, they have worked as a Lead Instrument Engineer at GATE (GAMA-TEKFEN), overseeing the installation of process control instrumentation and telecom systems. Yilmaz began their career as an Instrument Engineer at Tekfen Construction, reviewing engineering drawings and resolving engineering problems. Yasin also worked as an Instrumentation Engineer at EP SANEL Electronic-Pneumatic-Hydraulic Measurement and Control Systems Ltd., where they supervised electrification and instrumentation projects and installed control systems.

Yasin Yilmaz earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Near East University, where they studied from 1996-2000. Prior to that, they received an Associate's Degree in Electrician from Anadolu Technical High School, where they attended from 1989-1996. Additionally, Yasin has obtained numerous certifications in various fields, including Construction Management from Istanbul Technical University and certifications from institutions such as BP, OPITO, Elginkan Holding A.Ş, and SGS.
