Mark Novara

Mark Novara currently serves as the Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer at Tandem Diabetes Care, a role assumed in November 2023. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Senior Advisor in MedTech/Life Sciences at McKinsey & Company from February 2023 to November 2023, focusing on strategic and operational improvement for MedTech/Life Science companies. Mark's extensive experience at BD from July 2011 to December 2022 includes leading the Medication Delivery Solutions business unit as worldwide VP/GM, managing a $1.8 billion revenue portfolio, and overseeing strategic marketing for the $9 billion Medical Segment. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Hoffmann-La Roche and Sanofi-Aventis, where Mark managed global marketing initiatives for diabetes products and launch strategies for managed markets. Mark began the career in consulting at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and The Lewin Group. Mark holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Villanova University.
