Bhatraphol Tingpej is an experienced medical professional with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Starting in 2008, Tingpej worked as a Resident in Internal Medicine at Bassett Healthcare Network. This was followed by a position as an Infectious Disease Fellow at Cedars-Sinai/UCLA Multicampus Program in Infectious Disease from 2011 to 2013. Tingpej then completed a Medical Microbiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2013. In 2014, Tingpej took on the role of laboratory instructor of Microbiology at Harvard Medical School in addition to being the Medical Director of Infectious Disease and Hospital Epidemiology, as well as the Medical Director of the Infusion Center at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Also in 2014, Tingpej started working as an Infectious Disease Physician/HIV specialist at Sumter Family Health Center, where they provided comprehensive care for HIV-infected individuals and treated STDs and hepatitis C infections. In 2015, Tingpej became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. From 2017 to the present, Tingpej has been an Infectious Disease Physician at Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group. Their most recent position, starting in 2023, is Chief Medical Officer at Tandem Health.
Bhatraphol Tingpej attended Mahidol University from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the field of Medical doctor. After completing their medical degree, Bhatraphol Tingpej obtained several certifications from the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2011, they became a Diplomate in Internal Medicine, followed by a Diplomate in Infectious Disease in 2013, and finally a Diplomate in Pathology-Medical Microbiology in 2014.
