Michael Batuev

Michael Batuev currently serves as the VP Global Product at Tangem since August 2022. Previously, Michael held the position of Head of Emerging Products and Innovation at Visa from May 2015 to November 2019, where responsibilities included managing a digital product team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the regional expansion of key Visa products such as PayWave, Tokenization, and p2p payment solutions. Michael's earlier experience includes significant roles at Alfa-Bank, where Michael focused on e-commerce product development and led the Retail Technologies department, along with holding a Business Partner position at DELA and ownership of A-Tech. Educational background includes ongoing studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Management from the Far Eastern State Academy of Economics and Management, complemented by training in project management from the Project Management Institute Saint-Petersburg Chapter.
