Christy Varicat has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Christy is currently working as the Director of Marketing Customer Experience and Digital Transformation at Tangerine since March 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Scotiabank, including Marketing Director of Business Banking, Director of Enterprise Digital Marketing, and Sr Manager of Global Performance Marketing from 2015 to 2022. Christy also worked as the Director of Client Development at Rubicon Project & Chango, where they provided data-driven advertising solutions. Earlier in their career, they served at Google as an Agency Lead and Account Strategist & Agency Lead from 2005 to 2013. Christy started their marketing career as a Marketing Specialist at Plan International Canada in 2003 and an Account Manager at JWT in the same year. Christy began their career as an Account Executive at Grey Advertising in 2001.
Christy Varicat holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Russian Language & Literature from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Google Adwords and Google Analytics from Google.
