Marius Slavescu

Marius Slavescu is a seasoned technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and robotics. As the founder of the Open Source Self Driving Car Initiative and GTA Robotics, Marius leads initiatives that promote innovation and community engagement in the field of robotics. Co-founding STEMCA Inc, Marius is instrumental in advancing STEM education through robotics for K12 students. With extensive experience as a Senior SOA/Java Consultant at Tangerine and as the CTO and Owner of Elegant Computing Services Inc., Marius has held various pivotal roles throughout a career that includes positions at RBC Royal Bank, IBM, CDS Ltd., and 3Comp Ltd. Marius earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu between 1988 and 1993.
