Liat Belinson has a long and varied work experience. Liat began their career in 1997 as a Programmer and Project Manager with the Israel Defence Force. In 1999, they were a Course Instructor at The Open University of Israel. In 2003, they were a Project Manager at Madanes Insurance Agency Ltd. and Norell Inc. and UCL, UK. At Norell Inc. and UCL, UK, they developed a software for measuring facial features of different people. In 2004, they were a Research Economist at The London School of Economics and Political Science, Centre for Economic Performance (CEP), UK, where they developed ownership mapping algorithms to draw on the corporate ownership structure of European and US firms. Liat was also an Associate Developer at Markit in 2006. In 2007, they became the CEO and co-founder of AI Patents, the first and only technology management tool and patent search engine that does not rely on Boolean, semantic or contextual algorithms. Finally, in 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer of Tangibly Inc.

Liat Belinson has a diverse educational background. Liat completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tel Aviv University in 2003. Liat then attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for two years, earning an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems in 2005 and an MsC in Information System in 2006. Prior to their university education, Belinson attended Gimnasya from 1994 to 1997, and the Israel Defence Force, The Advanced School For Computer Studies from 1997 to 1998. In 2019, Belinson completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
