Shuanessy Matthews has extensive work experience in the education sector. Shuanessy began their career in 2011 as a Secondary Principal at Louisiana Connections Academy, where they also served as an Assistant Principal and Master Teacher. Shuanessy'sresponsibilities included communicating with parents, students, and teachers through various mediums, monitoring student work and providing feedback, supervising and evaluating school programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting tutorial and instructional sessions. From 2017 to 2020, Shuanessy worked as a Principal-Secondary at East Feliciana Schools before transitioning to the role of Principal at Tangipahoa Parish School System in 2020.
Shuanessy Matthews holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix, which was completed from 2008 to 2011.
