Alan Shortz is a co-founder and CEO of Tango since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Vice President in EM Macro Trading, Interest Rate Derivatives & FX at Barclays Investment Bank from August 2017 to May 2018, and as an Analyst in EM IR Derivatives from June 2015 to July 2017. Alan also has experience in sports media, having provided support for ESPN's television coverage of the 2014 Wimbledon Championships and general operations support for the French Open in 2014. Additionally, Alan has worked as an Analyst in CEO & Board Services at Russell Reynolds Associates from November to December 2013, as a Summer Analyst at The Carlyle Group from May to August 2013, and as a Commercial Real Estate Analyst at CPEX Real Estate in 2012. Alan started their career as a United States Senate Page from September 2009 to February 2010.
Alan Shortz attended St. Lawrence University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Alan then went on to study Economics at UCL, although the specific degree they pursued at this institution is not provided.
