Binzhang Shen

Binzhang Shen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology. Binzhang is currently working as a Senior Principal Scientist at Tango Therapeutics. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Scientist at Unum Therapeutics, where they led the vector engineering effort to empower human T cells to kill tumors. Bin was also a Senior Scientist at Agrivida, Inc., where they led project teams and played a major role in the development of molecular biology platform technologies. Binzhang started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where they made significant contributions to microRNA research. Bin earned their Ph.D. in molecular biology from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, focusing on the development of transposons as gene search engines and mutagenic reagents for functional genomics and genetics.

Binzhang Shen has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Biology from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from Wuhan University.
