Drew Sansone

Drew S. has over 25 years of experience in global regulatory affairs and project management. Drew currently holds the role of Chief Regulatory Officer at Tango Therapeutics, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, Drew served as the Vice President and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs/Regulatory and Quality for Ipsen Bioscience US from 2016 to 2023. Before that, they worked at AbbVie as a Regulatory Affairs Therapeutic Leader from 2012 to 2016. From 2006 to 2012, Drew worked at Tengion, Inc as the Executive Director of Global Regulatory Affairs, where they provided leadership and strategy for the development of innovative biologic/device combination tissue engineered products. Drew also worked at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs from 2002 to 2005, overseeing global regulatory interactions and submissions. Prior to that, Drew was an Associate Director at AstraZeneca Inc in various regulatory roles from 2000 to 2002 and a Global Regulatory Project Manager at AstraZeneca, Inc from 1997 to 2000. Drew began their career at Sanofi-Winthrop Inc as a Regulatory Administrator and Data Coordinator from 1994 to 1995. Drew has a strong track record of successfully leading global health authority meetings, negotiating with regulatory agencies, obtaining orphan drug status, and creating and managing budgets and regulatory processes.

Drew S. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Siena College in 1992. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance from Temple University.
