Liliana Rao

Liliana Rao has extensive work experience in laboratory operations and management. Liliana is currently serving as the Associate Director of Lab Operations at Tango Therapeutics since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager of Lab Operations at the same company from September 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining Tango Therapeutics, Liliana worked as a Laboratory Manager at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from October 2015 to September 2018. Liliana also served as a Laboratory Supervisor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from June 2006 to June 2015.

Liliana'sexperience in the field began as a Senior Microbiology Research Assistant at the National Institutes of Health from January 2004 to January 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Vaccine Development, UMD from January 2000 to January 2004.

Liliana Rao holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, which they obtained from the University of Maryland/Javeriana University, Bogota Colombia between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they had completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology/Clinical Microbiology and Bacteriology at the Universidad de Los Andes from 1991 to 1996.
