Chris Ortbals

Chris Ortbals is the Chief Product Officer at Tangoe, Inc.

As CPO, Ortbals leads Tangoe’s Product Development organization responsible for the entire lifecycle of the company’s product offerings including Product Strategy, Product Management, User Experience, and innovation. Recognized for his focus on customer centric initiatives, he drives value in providing roadmaps that incorporate customer feedback that evolve into industry leading solutions.

Prior to joining Tangoe, Ortbals served as the Chief Technology Officer for Newfold Digital, responsible for Product Development across their portfolio of brands while also leading a global team. Before that, Ortbals spent several years in executive capacities leading Product Management & Development. His experience is deep rooted in IT, cloud, telecommunications, and internet services.

Ortbals has a master’s degree in Information Management from Washington University in St. Louis, and a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University.
