Saadia Islam

Saadia I. is an experienced legal assistant and paralegal currently working at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP in the Employment Law department since August 2022. Prior experience includes an internship at the New York City Department of Records - Municipal Archives in July 2021 and positions at Boston University as a Resident Assistant from August 2020 to July 2021, and as a private tutor from 2012 to July 2021. Additional internships include work with the Urban Justice Center's Street Vendor Project in July 2019, Lighthouse Guild from July 2017 to August 2019, and the Law Offices of Brenna Torres from November 2016 to March 2017. Saadia I. also gained experience as a canvasser for the Paul Graziano Campaign in 2017 and interned at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in July 2015. Saadia I. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Linguistics from Boston University and graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2017.
