Luisa Moreno

Luisa Moreno is a business professional with over a decade of experience in the mining and resource industry. Luisa has held various positions including Accounting Officer, Vice-President Corporate and DRC Affairs, and DRC Managing Director. In their current role as Director at Tantalex Resources, they are responsible for expanding the company's exploration and development business to include cobalt assets in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Moreno began their career in 2009 as a Bilingual POS Analyst for Moneris Solutions. Luisa then spent two years as a Group RSP Representative for Mackenzie Investments before joining Goldworx International Corp as Vice-President Corporate Affairs in 2012. In 2014, they joined Belair African Metals as Vice-President Corporate and DRC Affairs where they oversaw the company's commodity trading division focused on the sale of iTSCi certified conflict free tin and tantalum concentrates originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Moreno left Belair in 2018 to join Cobalt Blockchain as DRC Managing Director, where they were responsible for the expansion of the Canadian resource company's exploration and development business to include cobalt assets in the DRC. Luisa remained in this role until 2021 when they took on their current role as Director at Tantalex Resources.

Luisa Moreno received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics for Commerce from York University and their High School diploma in Math-Physique from C.S Les Loupiots.
