Jim Metaxas

Jim Metaxas has extensive experience in the financial services industry, specializing in structured finance, securitization, and asset-backed commercial paper. Jim is currently the Managing Director and Global Head of Business Development at TAO Solutions Inc., where they oversee the sales effort for their software solutions. Prior to this, Jim served as the Head of Asia Pacific for TAO Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. Jim also worked at Moody's Analytics as the Director of Structured Solutions for the Oceania region, and at Assured Guaranty as the Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific, where they played a key role in growing the business. Additionally, Jim has held management positions at Fixed Income, Deposits and Alternative Investments Exchange, Westpac Institutional Bank, ING, and PwC Corporate Finance. Their roles have involved business development, strategy, client coverage, and executive management in various sectors of the financial industry.

Jim Metaxas has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Law from Curtin University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Jim later pursued a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia between 1999 and 2001. In 2004 and 2005, Jim studied Financial Advisory Compliance at the Australian Financial Markets Association. Most recently, in 2017, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors to expand their knowledge in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
