Malcolm Eaton has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Malcolm has held various roles in different industries, showcasing their expertise in technology, project management, and business development.

Malcolm's most recent position is with Taos, where they serve as a Service Delivery Manager. With over 20 years of experience, they have successfully led and mentored IT teams, delivering enterprise data systems and platforms. Malcolm has a deep knowledge of scoping, staffing, and implementing solutions for clients across different sectors.

Prior to Taos, Malcolm worked as an Indoor Cycling Instructor and Trainer at Fitness SF, where they engaged with diverse clientele, facilitated high-energy indoor cycling programs, and provided training to fellow instructors. Malcolm also played a role in marketing and promoting the Fitness SF cycling program.

At First Republic Bank, Malcolm held the position of Director Data Strategy and Product Owner. In this role, they led the implementation of an MS SQL data warehouse and transitioned the team to Agile methodology. As the Product Owner, they improved enterprise data quality and consistency and facilitated migration project efficiencies.

Before First Republic Bank, Malcolm was a Senior Engagement Manager and Project Architect at Cyclotron, Inc. During their time there, they managed client relationships, designed and deployed technology solutions, and led project teams. Additionally, they worked as an Indoor Cycling Fitness Instructor at The Olympic Club during this period.

Malcolm also gained experience as a Regional Business Development Director at Kiefer Consulting, Inc., where they were responsible for growing the company's reach in the San Francisco Bay Area. Malcolm collaborated closely with potential clients and served as the Nintex Dedicated Sales Professional.

In their role as an Associate Director at Protiviti SharePoint Solutions, Malcolm played a key role in expanding partnerships with Nintex and Metalogix. Malcolm also launched a complex SharePoint knowledge management solution for Boeing Employee Credit Union.

Prior to that, Malcolm worked as an Indoor Cycling Instructor for Go Cycle, utilizing their passion for fitness and cycling. Malcolm took pride in creating unique and challenging classes and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of students' exercises.

Earlier in their career, Malcolm served as the Practice Leader of the Microsoft Solutions team at PSC Group, LLC. Malcolm established the practice as a trusted partner to key clients, achieved cost savings and improved project profitability, and led the turnaround of a troubled client relationship.

Lastly, Malcolm was the Owner and COO of Captaré Consulting, LLC. In this role, they led various projects as a project manager, architect, and business analyst. Malcolm was instrumental in revamping a client's new product development process, capturing new business from Midway Games, and partnering with Brainerd School District to create a SaaS solution.

Malcolm Eaton attended the University of Michigan from 1988 to 1989, studying Computer Science. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1989 to 1992. At Wisconsin-Madison, their majors were Information Systems and Accounting. In terms of additional certifications, in September 2020, Malcolm obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
