João Vieira has extensive experience in the aviation and logistics sectors, currently serving as a Continuing Airworthiness Engineer and Maintenance Programmes Engineer at TAP Portugal since January 2016, where responsibilities include managing aircraft phase-in projects and ensuring continuous airworthiness of the fleet. João has been a member of the Industry Steering Committee for the A320Family since 2017 and has expertise in modification project management and design engineering. Prior to TAP Portugal, João was the Operations Manager at LogiC-Logística Integrada from September 2007 to January 2016, overseeing reverse logistics operations, resource management, process design, and software development. Earlier experience includes a consulting role at MultiSector Norte. João holds a Master's degree in Transport Planning and Operations from Instituto Superior Técnico, an Erasmus IP in Railway Logistic Performance from Newcastle University, and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
