Steve Delves, MBA, CPA, CGA, has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles in finance and accounting. Most recently, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Tap & Barrel Group, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Vice President of Finance at the same company. Before joining Tap & Barrel Group, Steve held the role of VP at Big Chip from 2019 to 2022. Steve also served as the CFO at Alpine Building Maintenance from 2018 to 2019. Notably, Steve spent a significant portion of their career at JOEY Restaurant Group, where they held the positions of VP Finance from 2015 to 2018 and Director of Finance from 2008 to 2015. Additionally, they worked at Kor Real Estate as a Manager in Finance & Accounting, Corix Utilities as a Financial Analyst, Playground as a Regional Accountant, and Earl's Restaurants Ltd. as a Regional Controller. With their extensive background in finance and accounting, Steve brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their current role as CFO at Tap & Barrel Group.
Steve Delves, MBA, CPA, CGA has a diverse education history. Steve started their academic journey by pursuing a Geomatics degree at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1998. Steve then shifted their focus to financial management and advanced accounting, completing a degree in Financial Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2001.
Seeking further educational enhancement, Steve went on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne between 2005 and 2008. Their educational pursuits didn't stop there, as they acquired their CGA designation in 2009.
To further their expertise and knowledge, Steve completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne in 2015. This well-rounded education has equipped Steve Delves with a strong foundation in accounting, financial management, geomatics, and business administration, making him a qualified professional with a holistic understanding of various fields.
