Tim Batt

Tim Batt is a seasoned media professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in podcasting, event production, and communication management. As Co-Founder of TAP Live Events since January 2023, Tim focuses on enhancing live experiences for performers and audiences. Tim founded Little Empire Podcast Network in December 2015, featuring popular shows such as The Worst Idea of All Time. Tim also established SpecPro Media Limited in November 2014 to oversee various creative projects, and served as Head of Podcasts at Frank Podcasts from February 2023 to May 2024. Previously, Tim was Content Development Director for Acast in New Zealand, where responsibilities included talent acquisition and audience growth for podcasters. Early career roles included producing for The Matt Heath Drive Show on The Radio Network and working with X105 and MediaWorks NZ. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Public Relations and Communication Management from Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and a Diploma in Commercial Broadcasting from the New Zealand Radio Training School.
