Anwar Ali Marafi

Anwar Ali Marafi is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in corporate banking and investment. Currently serving as a Board Member and Chairman of the Board Risk Committee at Unicap Investment and Finance, Anwar is also the Group Head of Financial Institutions & Value-Added Services at Tap Payments, overseeing operations across the GCC and MENA regions. Previous roles include Head of Business at BBK, Board Member at Knet, and leadership positions in corporate banking at HSBC and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait. Anwar holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and a BBA in Entrepreneurship from the American University of Beirut. Anwar is actively involved in fostering business relationships between the UK and the Middle East.
