Darcy Leclerc has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career in 2002 as a Multiple Subject Special Education Teacher and Literacy Specialist at Oak Grove Center for Education, Treatment and the Arts, where they taught students with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities. They also developed and administered a successful literacy intervention program and collaborated with professionals to create Individualized Education Plans.
In 2011, Darcy worked as a Document Specialist at Access Biologicals, where they were responsible for creating documentation related to the sale and transport of perishable human plasma products. They also maintained multiple databases using MS Excel and Filemaker Pro.
From 2013 to 2014, Darcy served as a Customer Service Manager at ToeSox, managing a team of 4 representatives and overseeing online retail and dealer sales and service. They also maintained customer accounts and assisted in transitioning to a new ERP system.
Darcy then joined SoftScience Inc in 2015 as a Customer Service Manager. In this role, they designed, launched, and managed the department, providing premium support to a customer base of 20k registered e-commerce customers, 300 wholesale dealers, and 20 national and international distributors. They led a team of 3 representatives and successfully managed the department through a period of critical growth.
In 2020, Darcy became an Independent Consultant, providing consulting services until October 2022.
In 2022, Darcy briefly served as the Manager of Customer Service and Operations at Sunsoil, where they oversaw customer service and operations.
Currently, Darcy is working as a Customer Support Representative at Tapcheck, an award-winning fintech company that provides employers and workers with on-demand pay and financial education.
Darcy Leclerc began their education at CSU San Marcos College of Arts in 1999 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Writing Studies with a Writing Emphasis in 2001. Darcy achieved Summa Cum Laude honors during this time. From 2002 to 2007, Darcy attended CSU San Marcos College of Education, focusing on K-12 Multiple Subject and Special Education. Darcy did not obtain a specific degree during this period. In 2011, they briefly attended UC San Diego where they obtained a Certificate in Biofuels Science Technician, specializing in Microbiology and Crop Management. Continuing their education in the same year, Darcy pursued a Certificate in Industrial Biotech Immersion Program at the Biocom Institute, which they completed in 2012.
