Didier Poulain has a diverse work experience in the software industry. Didier started their career at Microïds Canada as a Programmer in 1995 and gradually worked their way up to become the Technical Director and Director of Development, managing teams and overseeing technical development and planning. Didier also served as the Lead Programmer, making technical decisions and developing titles for PC and Playstation.
In 2003, Poulain joined A2M as the Technical Production Chief, where they managed programmer teams and was responsible for technical development follow-up and planning.
In 2010, they joined Pixilabs Software Inc. as the Technical Director, where they provided technical expertise in mobile game development and worked on titles such as Tap-Tap Rockets for various platforms.
Poulain later joined GameNGive Inc. in 2014 as the Director of Platform Development, where they played a key role in architecting and designing the GameNGive backend. Didier also developed the backend using PHP/MySQL/Python and worked on the GameNGive search website.
Poulain's most recent role was as a Senior Software Engineer at TapClicks, starting in 2015.
Didier Poulain pursued their education at Université de Caen Normandie from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Maitrise Informatique degree in Software Engineering. Didier then attended Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne from 1994 to 1995, where they completed a DEA Image program in Software Engineering focused on computer images, including 3D and image processing.
