Soleil Kohl

Soleil Kohl has a diverse work experience in the fields of education, content creation, and performance. Soleil started their career as a Producer and Player at RISE Comedy from October 2017 to April 2020. Soleil then worked as a Recording Teacher at ZipSchool from June 2021 to August 2021. From August 2020 to April 2022, Soleil worked at Boulder Journey School, where they were a Resident Teacher and later became a Mentor Teacher. During this time, they implemented various new media provocations and collaborated with co-teachers, parents, and children to devise new learning pathways. Soleil also worked as a Virtual STEM Educator at Project Scientist from March 2022 to June 2022. From December 2019 to September 2022, Soleil worked at Beanstalk Interactive Company as an On-Camera Educator Performer/ECE Curriculum Developer, where they created interactive content for a 3-6 year old audience and delivered live-broadcasted episodes. Soleil also worked as a Freelance Creative Consultant from July 2020, providing services in content creation, education, and inclusive design. Soleil further gained experience as an Actor and Performer in various capacities at different companies starting from November 2018. Soleil has also worked as an STEM & Arts Educator at Outschool from November 2021, where they developed and delivered curriculum content in STEM/STEAM subjects. Soleil also worked as a Creative Learning Curriculum Consultant (Art & Coding) at mumok - Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien from August 2021, where they analyzed the museum collection and developed curriculum connecting art to science using code. Currently, Soleil is working at Tappity since March 2023 as a Curriculum Developer & Teacher, where they create mathematics classes for elementary students and delivers classes covering various subjects.

Soleil Kohl has an extensive education history. They started their academic journey at the School for The Talented And Gifted from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a high school diploma. Following that, from 2015 to 2019, Soleil attended the University of Denver, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Emergent Digital Practices & Creative Writing. In 2020, they continued their education at the University of Colorado Denver and completed a Master's degree in Learning, Developmental, and Family Sciences in 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Soleil also pursued additional certifications. In July 2019, they obtained a certification in Google Analytics from Google. Furthermore, in the same month, they acquired a certification in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy. More recently, in August 2021, Soleil obtained a Teacher certification for students from birth to 6th grade, issued by the Colorado Department of Education.
