Derrick Muir

Derrick Muir is an experienced Lead Subsea Engineer for TAQA, overseeing subsea projects since October 2017. Prior roles include technology project management at Cortex Worldwide Limited and site representation for BP and Total E&P (UK), focusing on subsea hardware and project delivery. Derrick has provided engineering support for offshore operations and managed the delivery of subsea equipment across multiple global locations during tenures with ExxonMobil and FMC Technologies. With a strong educational background, including an MBA from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Computer-Aided Engineering Design, Derrick has built a robust career in subsea engineering and project management.
