Subhra K Bhakta

Subhra K Bhakta serves as the Group Head of Enterprise Architecture at TAQA Group since August 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing cloud and data platform architecture and leading the IT Strategy & Architecture leadership team for the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company. Additionally, Subhra holds a board member position at The Open Group Certification Authority, contributing to global architecture development and certification reviews. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure at IBM from April 2011 to August 2021 as Chief Architect for Digital Transformation, managing significant cloud implementations and IT transformations. Notable projects include the implementation of smarter city technologies for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Doha and architecting healthcare solutions in Kuwait. Prior positions also include roles at Emirates NBD and New Horizons International, complemented by educational qualifications from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and JIS College of Engineering.
