Nilesh Khambekar

Nilesh Khambekar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and system architecture. Currently serving as Sr. Director at Tarana Wireless, Inc. since March 2017, Nilesh focuses on Fixed Wireless Broadband Access, encompassing data-plane, control plane, and management plane functionalities. As the Founder of a startup since August 2015, Nilesh has pioneered advancements in Dynamic Spectrum Management Technologies for the Defence Industry and Fixed Wireless Broadband for the Commercial Industry. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at vArmour, specializing in software-defined networking and security, and at Juniper Networks, where contributions involved SRX Security, high availability, and virtualization. Nilesh began career at Cradle Technologies, developing Integrated Security Appliances on a multicore platform. Academically, Nilesh holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo, a Master's Degree in Wireless Communications from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
