Deirdre McGuinness

Deirdre McGuinness is a seasoned nonprofit leader with extensive experience in fundraising and community engagement. Currently serving as Vice President of the Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Deirdre has held various leadership roles such as Sr. Director of Campaign Development and Director of Campaign Excellence since October 2017. Prior experience includes Senior Director of Account Management at LeadDog Marketing Group and multiple roles at the American Cancer Society from 2007 to 2015, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing significant fundraising portfolios and leading teams to enhance community initiatives. Deirdre's career began at The Irish American Cultural Institute, where responsibilities included planning membership campaigns and fundraising events. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University.
