Tarantino Engineering Consultants, P.C.
TEC is an engineering consulting firm specializing in three practice areas: Structural Design, Forensic Engineering, and Steel Connection Design. Since 2013 our clients have trusted us to work on high profile, award winning design projects such as Diageo’s Guinness Open Gate Brewery, Frank Gehry’s Merriweather Post Pavilion roof reconstruction and loge coverings, the MedStar Headquarters, UVA Alderman Library, and the McCormick Headquarters. However, you’ll find the same attention to detail, work ethic, and enthusiasm in the over 250 projects our team works on every year throughout the United States. What makes us unique among engineering firms is that our three practice areas are all in house and integrated. Each member of our team is well-versed in each discipline. Our forensic practice continuously teaches us what designs go wrong in buildings, as well as arms us with invaluable knowledge to incorporate into our structural designs. And our steel connection design practice is a specialty, not offered by many other design firms. We enjoy the creativity of the design while remaining keenly aware of construction budget, striking a balance that limits cost overruns while delivering the project vision.
