Matthew Polk, P.Eng. has over 14 years of work experience in various roles in the engineering industry. Matthew began their career as a Gas Turbine Combustion Intern at Alstom Power in 2007. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Yanos Aerospace Inc. as a Project Coordinator, where they were responsible for the delivery of test cells for various aircraft, implementation of instrumentation and control systems, and verification of gas turbine performance. Since 2012, Matthew has been with Tarco, where they have held roles including Control Systems Engineer, Project Manager, and most recently, Vice President of Business Development. In their current position, they are responsible for developing new business opportunities and overseeing the company's growth.

Matthew Polk, P.Eng. earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Matthew obtained their Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification from both The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) as well as Professional Engineers Ontario in the year 2013.
