Kshirod Samir

Kshirod Samir is an experienced data engineering professional with a comprehensive background in high-volume real-time data pipelines and big data technologies. Currently serving as a Lead Engineer at Target since October 2019, Kshirod has utilized various technologies including Akka Streams, Spark, and Kubernetes. Prior to this, Kshirod held the position of Senior Data Engineer at Capital One, where significant contributions were made to transform and modernize data pipelines for key clients by utilizing AWS and Apache Spark. Kshirod also gained valuable experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Inovalon and as a Big Data Developer at UnitedHealth Group, alongside foundational roles at Tata Consultancy Services, encompassing a range of data technologies and programming skills. Kshirod holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
