Matt Huang

Director, Owned Brand Innovation at Target

Matt Huang has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matt most recently worked at Target as the Director of Owned Brand Innovation and previously held positions as Principal Design and Innovation Strategist and Lead Design and Innovation Strategist. Before joining Target, Matt worked at Ziba Design as an Associate Creative Director, where they were responsible for developing creative directions for clients and leading creative teams. Matt has also held roles at Circuit City Stores, Inc. and Ignite Design. Matt started their career at Wolters Group International as the Director of Design and Engineering.

Matt Huang earned a Master of Design degree in Human Centered Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in industrial design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 1986 to 1989. Matt Huang also has additional certifications in Business Model Generation and Program Management, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
