Nic Eggert

Nic Eggert is a Principal Engineer at Target where they build high-performance computing infrastructure and platforms for machine learning. Prior to that, they were a Lead Data Scientist at Seagate Technology, working with large amounts of log data to study failures in enterprise storage products. At Cornell University, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate, conducting R&D for the Muon g-2 experiment. Nic also has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where they worked on particle physics experiments. They hold a PhD in Physics from Cornell University and a BS in Physics (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Minnesota.
