Rich Agostino

SVP & CISO at Target

Rich Agostino is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Target. Rich has also previously worked for Google, the PCI Security Standards Council, and GE.

Rich began their career at GE in July of 2002, working their way up to Vice President of Technology Risk and Compliance by September of 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading Information Security teams and programs globally across GE's diverse business units. This included overseeing Technology Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Security and Control Testing, Insider Threat / Data Loss Prevention, Forensic Investigations, Supplier Security, as well as driving strategic transformational security initiatives across GE's businesses and complex technology footprint.

Rich was also part of the leadership team that launched and developed GE's Information Security Technology Center. After 12 years with GE, Rich left to join Target in 2016 as their Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, they are responsible for protecting Target's data, systems, and reputation by leading their team of security experts and partnering with business leaders to identify and manage cyber risks.

Rich Agostino attended the School of Business at the University of Connecticut where they studied Management Information Systems. Rich also holds a certification from ISACA as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
