Norm Stein

Norm Stein has over 30 years of work experience in the financial industry. Norm is currently serving as the Vice President of Portfolio Management at Targeted Lending Co., LLC since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at the same company since January 2017.

Before joining Targeted Lending Co., LLC, Norm worked at Great Erie Federal Credit Union as a Senior Loan Officer from December 2013 to January 2017. In this role, they processed and underwrote consumer credit applications for various types of loans.

Norm also gained experience as a Credit Manager at Blue Bridge Financial, LLC from August 2011 to December 2013. In this position, they reviewed and underwrote commercial loan applications and managed the company's loan portfolio.

From May 2005 to August 2011, Norm worked as a Portfolio Manager at Evans National Leasing. Norm managed the bank's national commercial equipment loan portfolio and implemented strategies to minimize loan defaults.

Norm's career started in 1992 when they worked as a Collection Manager at Management Adjustment Bureau/NCO Financial until 1998. Norm then joined Cornerstone Community FCU as a Credit Loan Officer from March 1998 to May 2005.

Throughout their career, Norm has gained expertise in portfolio management, underwriting, credit analysis, and collections.

Norm Stein obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from Buffalo State University from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended Pioneer Central School from 1980 to 1984, focusing on Mathematics. Norm also has several additional certifications including a Certificate of Completion from Lending School obtained in April 2014, a Notary Public certification obtained in July 1999, a Certificate of Achievement from the University of Lending obtained in September 1998, and a Certified Collector certification from the American Collectors Association obtained in November 1993.
